We're all about to cross a bridge, in darkness, and alone. See it, don't see it, run across, walk slow and hold tight, jump, refuse and turn back. The choice is always ours.I will lamp-light this for you - this is a chance to stop replaying a drama of pain, one you initiate, or one of which you always seem to be getting into the firing line. I'll be removing myself from the latter.

Do what necessitates doing, otherwise, choose the safety and integrity of silence and withdrawal.
If you're connected with your intuition, trust it!
I do trust and though there is pain, it is necessary and good to just walk, stop, walk and trust. and to leave a light on.
ReplyDeleteIn my phase everything has felt so tentative, many dark bridges to cross or not, trusting intuition seems the only sensible option. x
ReplyDelete...mmm... I like this, Monica! "Do what necessitates doing"...Everything is down to choice isn't it, and only we can make it. More and more I try to listen to that inner voice and act. Sometimes silence before the action is necessary, being very quiet and listening. And trusting that inner light! We walk a little, stop, try to get closer to the light, walk a little more... :o)
ReplyDeleteOh Wow! So right there, at that bridges edge. You always have the words. I think I shall go fearlessly into that dark night, over that dark bridge, but I shall perhaps run, but I will keep my heart and eyes open, as I have spent too much time either jumping, or walking slowly in the pain, owning it, even when it wasnt mine to own. Perhaps I will sprout wings as I am running across the bridge, and I will try desperately to keep my eyes open... Love this...
ReplyDeleteoh dear Monica! I had a conversation with a very good friend of mine about... you know bridges and stuff!
ReplyDeleteWe have both learned to trust our intuition - well most of the time anyway
and we had to laugh it out, promising that sometimes is ok to use a boat ;)
hugs
Interesting timing for me... "choose the safety and integrity of silence" - Yes! This morning in Silence (meditative Silence) I received this: "Allow the Sacred Silence to carry you, sustain you, uphold you through its silent Rhythm. Do not be deterred from the Sacred Silence..." Goosebumps :)
ReplyDeleteI am scared of bridges, probably metaphorically as well as literally.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture. We don't have bridges like that in the U.S.
thank you sister...thank you
ReplyDeletelove and light
Yes! I am running across at full force, so ready :)
